A modern classic for your Market with Asak Flyt licensing model, manufacturers produce the patented technology in their own factories – supported by METTEN with expertise, training and technical support.
Snøhetta, the internationally renowned office for architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and brand design, has developed Asak Flyt® in collaboration with the Norwegian manufacturer ASAK Miljøstein to meet the current and future challenges of water management.
The Asak Flyt® collection consists of four hexagonal interlocking stones that can be combined to create seamless transitions when designing and programming outdoor spaces. The flexible system provides landscape architects with another powerful tool for nature-based water management.
Choose from two different surface finishes, more than 100 colours and four stone sizes to create your own unique design. The La Linia® surface features visible natural stone and gemstone aggregates, while Umbriano® is characterized by a nature-inspired grain that makes each paving stone one-of-a-kind.

Asak Flyt® combines high pavement stability with effective drainage and barrier-free accessibility. Its S-shaped interlocking system limits block rotation, enhancing the stability and load-bearing performance of the paved surface. Three of the four formats offer varying levels of water permeability per square metre through different joint widths. The fourth format features narrow joints, making it ideal for accessible footpaths and safe pedestrian areas. Asak Flyt® delivers a versatile paving solution for the diverse technical requirements of public spaces.
A unique product that meets the diverse needs of public spaces in cities – Asak Flyt® can also be refined with the CleanTop® coating, thereby increasing its durability. The protection system reduces dirt build-up, makes cleaning easier and helps prevent the growth of algae and moss.
